Eurovia British Columbia is committed to recognizing and respecting the rights of Indigenous People in Canada. Our goal is to be considered a respectful, trustworthy neighbour and to foster business relationships with First Nations in British Columbia.
We maintain a strong legacy of working with Indigenous organizations and communities on ports, marine terminals, local infrastructure projects, and more. As a member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business it is important to us that our approach to Indigenous Relations considers the culture and values and respect for our indigenous partners.
Through the formally established partnerships with Tsleil-Waututh, Tsawwassen First Nation, Musqueam and Squamish Nation we provide a framework of trust and greater cooperation. We are also actively working to develop meaningful relationships with other Indigenous groups in all of our operational areas. Our approach includes identifying and understanding areas of mutual interest and focus on capability and capacity improvement through employment, procurement and community action.
